Love is in the air!
A new year brings with it the opportunity for a fresh beginning. January is always a time of reflection for me – snowy and peaceful. I like to read a lot, write a lot, and think a lot.
One of the things I had been thinking about was what to name the book I had written about love. “What am I going to name the love book?” I kept asking myself. Finally, I decided to name it just that! The Love Book!
Valentine’s Day is in February and brings with it the season of love. What could be a better time to release The Love Book, than now?
The Love Book is a story told mostly through illustrations. The illustrator, Nadezhda Goretovskaia has done an exceptional job of helping me conceptualize a fun and whimsical tale seen through the eyes of a mama mouse and her child.
I just adore simple rhyming books because they celebrate the innocence and joys of childhood. As a child myself, rhyming books were my favorite!
The Love Book is a rhyming book about unconditional love. It should be a bedtime story. A baby shower gift. The first book for a new baby. I wrote this book for YOU and I pictured you, with your little one on your lap, sharing this story of love with a cuddle and a kiss.
I hope you feel the love this season and every season! The Love Book is my way of telling you that I love you! Take it, hold it, spread it, and enjoy every minute of it.
No matter what happens, I would love you still, ’cause nothing can change the way that I feel.
