Hey everyone! This is Zelie the Dog, and I am sneaking around to write the blog again because I am so excited!
The new book, Delilah is a Tiger has a dog in it! I will tell you a secret – Mom didn’t mean for there to be a dog in this story. Anastasiya, the illustrator, drew him into it. You can look for him on the chair, in the corner, or hiding here and there in the book. His name is Mr. Waggles.
He ended up being so cute that for the next book about Delilah – he is a main character! Mom won’t like it if I say too much about that. It is supposed to be a surprise! But I can’t wait!
Delilah is a Tiger was the first book that mom wrote, and the third she published. I love this story about a little girl with a wild imagination and a big heart.
I hope you all are having a wonderful summer! We have a new neighbor with a dog named Gracie! I love running along the fence with her and barking back and forth. I think we are going to be very good friends. So far this summer I have found a snake, a turtle, a crawdad, and ducks in the backyard. Harper, my fur sister, was not too happy about any of our visitors but I think they are awesome! I hope there will be more!
